Overview

Manage facilities projects through research, negotiation, and implementation of national corporate programmes and services.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the implementation of contracts with Vendors who provide national services.
  2. Manage daily operation of nationally negotiated contracts and programs.
  3. Ensure programmes and services are effectively administered by research and cost savings initiatives. Provide savings analysis for leadership review (i.e. Waste management, security, Direct TV, etc.).
  4. Establish and maintain open and effective communication with national account representatives and vendors.
  5. Work with municipal officials and landowners to coordinate all regulatory aspects of operations.
  6. Maintain the implementation of warranties and oversee maintenance bidding and contract coordination to ensure the integrity of the stores condition (security equipment, furnishings, equipment).
  7. Obtain necessary approvals for capital expenditures
  8. Approve project associated invoices for payment.
  9. Provide project status information to Facilities Manager and Operations personnel.
  10. Follow up on field projects with Operations, Facilities Managers and Contractors
  11. Provide an Audit function for systems and projects
  12. And anything else required to ensure that Every Guest Leaves Happy

Measurements of Success

  1. Knowledge of Leisure service providers (i.e., security equipment/services, communications equip., audio/video equip., waste management, etc.)
  2. Track record of achievement in: Leisure facility, Property or H & S preferred
  3. Strong ability to manage multiple projects essential
  4. Proficiency in MS Office: Excel especially essential
  5. Knowledge of technical terminology
  6. Role involves 50%+ U.K. travel

Project Management… Use tools and processes to identify project goals, set and manage the schedule, anticipate and identify issues, remove obstacles, delineate responsibility, track task completion and communicate project progress.

Planning… Skilled in determining whether tasks should be attempted, identifying the most effective way of completing the task, and preparing how to overcome unexpected difficulties.

Organisation… Demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources.

Time Management… Skilled in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps, and delegating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results.

Research Skills… Utilise a variety of resources to complete a research assignment and be able to summarise and present your findings.
